  This was a very quaint hotel. It was a little older, but the rooms have been redone. The couple was very nice and while they did not speak any english, they were very understanding of my use of a translator and speaking like a 5 year old. The town is lovely, with plenty of small restaurants with good food and good prices. I would highly reco - This is a classic, older French downtown hotel, not one of those modern chain hotels that all look alike and have no charm. But to us the best thing about it was the staff. They were helpful, warm, and kind. They went out of their way to make recommendations on places to eat, places that were their favorites.   We really appreciated our trip in " provence" but first of all stay tothe st roch hotel in avignon, the owners are really very king andfriendly. The rooms are completely renoved and furnitures are very niceand trendy. Having breakfast in the garden during the warm saison mustbe really very nice and relaxing, and finally the quality rather theprice ... what people say » have a very hight score. - Price was great, had very nice "quad room" which actually had two bedrooms and a center area with sink and refrig, great room for family with two teenage boys. Nice garden and only a block from the entrance to the walled city so we walked everywhere from here. Very clean, friendly staff with good english skills.
