  Very friendly hosts with great customer service. Rooms were very clean and lovingly prepared with flowers and sweets on the cushions. We sent an SMS to say that our train was delayed and they asked us to call and have us the code to get in and said we could pay the next day. Free wifi access. - The stafff : the young lady who worked there was super personal and so cute. The man was also very nice. The presentation of the rooms was also adorable...scattered flower petals, candy and a complimentary water bottle. Le Lavandou is a great lil beach, touristy town. and you have to take the 10 minute ride or bus up to Bormes. what a really cool walking french village. the room is typical French. Small, Had the basics, was clean, certainly not luxurious, right in the heart of thin... what people say » gs, close to all. and served our purposes, I mean who hangs out in your room anyways. Pricing was great. - Loved the design and the helpful, friendly staff. A really cosy place to stay. Having such a fantastic restaurant just downstairs is perfect. The dessert was so good I had to have a second one! Also loved the choice of Jazz music in the restaurant, it made for a fantastic ambience.

  When I booked this small little hotel I was already so excited, anticipating it to be one of the highlight hotels of our trip to southern France - already bummed that our plans would only let us stay 1 night - it was so like the pictures but much better in person - the attention to detail,the spacious size of the suites, the quality of the fabric... what people say » s, the incredible eclectic collection of art enhancing every space- it is obviously a lifetime passion of theirs and it shows - and best of all they a - I only stayed for a day at the Maison du Frene and wish I could have stayed for a week! The place is magical, pictoresque yet design ... Fun deco, warm staff. The owner is such a fun and welcoming person. You just feel happy to be there. A real treat!   We went to Merseilles as part of our honeymoon. The owner Danielle "Jeanette" is also a travel agent herself, and her personal experience and very warm and friendly nature ensured that we were well prepared for our few days in this beautiful city. The feast of a breakfast was absolutely amazing with delicious Italian coffee and a selection of past... what people say » ries, cakes, freshly cut exotic fruits, yoghurt, jams, bread etc. the rooms were clean, new and comfortable. The metro is literally just across the ro - The hostesse / owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about Marseille. The rooms and breakfast area were clean and modern, and the breakfast was very good. We only stayed for a short trip to watch the football ( Arsenal ) at the Stade Velodrome opposite, but if I was touring Marseille I would definitely stay here. The Metro was five minutes away and would take you to all the parts of Marseille. I was very pleased with my stay and would recommend it.
