A beautiful castle with nice grounds. The family owners are actively engaged in the running of the house. We had dinner in the evening with good food and wine. Breakfast was pleasant with delicious homemade jam. The main house had two sitting rooms open to guests (one with a log fire) and a library with billiard table. Our room was in the Orangerie, which also had a comfortable, communal seating area. We borrowed bicycles and explored the grounds.

Everything about the gite was excellent, from Mme de Hillerin the owner, to the location and ambiance of the whole place. Plenty of room to park, comfy beds, brilliant kitchen and original tomette floors downstairs. We would have happily stayed for a fortnight. 25 minutes from Puy du Fou which was the object of the trip.

Owners made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. They recommended a local restaurant which they booked for us and it turned out to be fabulous .
Location was rural as expected and the Chateau was set in a idyllic setting and furnishings just fantastic .
