But thankfully someone was there and checked us in with a smile....much appreciated! Very nice, cozy complex. We only stayed one night, but talked about how it would be fun to stay longer another time. The beach and harbor is very close. Very friendly people in nearby cafes.

  The staff were so friendly and could not do enough to look after us. The hotel itself was picture perfect, nestled along a quaint street just yards away from the magnificent cathedral. Rooms - very comfortable and perfectly formed. - The staff went out of their way to help us with a rental car problem and were very friendly and accommodating with respect to all other matters. The restaurant/bar had a great atmosphere and the food was delicious. The setting is absolutely beautiful with the River Aure right behind the rooms in the annex.

  The room was exactly as advertised. Three hundred feet from the main office and across the street from Juno beach. The room was clean with a queen bed on a lower level and a queen in an upper loft. Excellent food with a nice view of the beach!! Make a reservation as it filled up fast after 7pm. - We stayed in the Le Gytan annexe. The accommodation was excellent and well decorated. Breakfast was served at the annexe and was to a very high standard. Dinner was at the Cremaillere and the quality of food was good and choice of menus varied. It would be very acceptable for most peoples tastes.

  The hotel was fresh, clean and new with efficient friendly staff at a brilliant budget price. The room was spotless with comfy beds which were cleaned and made up despite us only staying 2 nights. The layout of the room was very clever and made excellent use of the space making the room feel bigger despite a double, single bunk and cot being prese... what people say » nt. - It was a great place to stay for what we needed and staff was very friendly and helpful, price was right, our only complaint was that we didn't realize it was out of Bayeux approx. 4Kms and we didn't have a rental car (and there weren't any to rent in town) so we needed to taxi everywhere and that got a bit pricey.

  The situation where the hotel is is really great so close to the sea and it has a carparking also behind the hotel for a few cars. My father and I we had two rooms with oceanview, wonderful! The rooms where big, cleaning good each day and if you ask then it has rooms on the first or second floor like we had.   The setting is lovely and the owners could not have been more welcoming. The studios are larger than I thought they would be and are very clean and well presented. The covered outside veranda is a nice addition with a lovely view down to the lake and over the surrounding countryside. The Dubois couple were extremely helpful and accommodating. The setting and view from the studio, was gorgeous. We really want to return here, hopefully for longer next time.
