  This was our second stay at this hotel. On our last stay in July we ate every evening in the garden - it was delightful. The food was light and very well balanced flavours and, unusually for hotels in France, included a wide selection of vegetables. This stay, in December, we ate by a log fire in the dining room with soft lighting and twinkling d... what people say » ecorations. The food was robust with good strong flavours. It was Christmassy but not obtrusively so, and we loved it! Our room was spacious warm and - We had a wonderful experience staying at the auberge de l'ecole. David and Agnes made us so welcome, and the food was superb. Our room was delightful, two double beds so comfortable, the decor pale blue achieved a very relaxing place to be. Nothing was too much trouble from the owners and staff, we stayed 3 nights and could have easily settled for another 3. We were travelling from our home in Spain back to our home in England as we do each year and we most certainly stay again on our retur
