  Eventhough the exterior of the hotel doesn't look as nice, the rooms are very clean, nicely decorated with all updated amenities. The room is big and bathroom is spacious. The rate for this hotel is also very budget-friendly. Overall, we really enjoy our stay at hotel Italia. The hotel is small and inside a residential area but being in a quiet area and able to park your car in front of the door was nice. The city centre is a 20 minute walk.

  Hotel is situated in a quite area on the opposite side of the river to the town. A short walk across the bridge and your are in the centre. The rooms were good and we had a ground floor room which opened onto a small area with outside seating which was great as it was hot. No air con but as it was quiet we could leave window open. Everything was immaculately clean. The WiFi was good - not super fast but good enough to check emails / browse the web. Breakfast was good with bread, yoghurt, compote, jams, honey and fresh coffee. The onsite parking was a bonus and being able to park right outside your room was good.

No restaurant Sunday evening but help from staff on where to eat locally, or trip into Centre.

  Our family had a very positive experience during our stay. Great location - short taxi ride from train station; very friendly, helpful staff - from the front desk, breakfast room to housekeeping staff - all are extremely friendly and helpful! All of us would recommend this hotel to all travellers - if looking for an authentic "old" European expe - The hotel was in a wonderful location right in the centre of Blois but with easy parking nearby. When we booked, the proprietor sent a personal email welcoming us and this was typical of the whole style of the hotel which was friendly, cheerful and welcoming.
