About 1 hour driv - Fab location for exploring the surrounding towns and countryside. The complex was clean and well maintained and the pool was very nice. Both myself and my husband thoroughly enjoyed our Spa treatments. The staff were extremely helpful in providing information and tips on where to visit and good restaurants nearby. The town itself is lovely - very French and not too touristy. This is a French resort so don't expect everyone to speak English. We loved the fact that we only saw one other Engl

  The staff spoke excellent english. They were extremely helpful when booking in and also throughout my stay. A short walk to the centre of Honfleur made everything just perfect for a short break - The hotel was excellent. The location is great, about 5 minutes by foot from the center of the town.   The accommodation was clean, spacious and modern and the kids loved the swimming pool which was also very clean. Would definitely stay here again as a stop over en route to vendee. The nearby town of deauville was lovely but not walk able from here. There is a small local town which is walkable but not a huge selection of eateries so had no choice... what people say » but to have pizza in the evening although the accommodation is self catering so we could have cooked ourselves

  The location was in the country with lovely views of the Seine estuary. Not too far from Honfleur or Trouville and there are great beaches for the children. The staff were very pleasant and attentive and the swimming pools in the hotel were lovely, especially the indoor one. The room was clean and serviced daily. Clean bathroom and nice swimming pool. Excellent breakfast with a lot of choice and you could sit on the terras in the sun.

  It's a beautiful hotel with lovely loft rooms in a nice little town. I loved that each of the 3 rooms we had was slightly different. The lobby and breakfast areas are very charming and homey. All 5 of us simply loved the place. - I liked everything about Le Lion d'Or.
