    The hosts, M & Mme Kracher were very friendly and welcoming. The location on a quiet, leafy side street only five minutes walk from the town centre was superb. Our room was actually a suite of two With a table and Chairs on the shaded balcony facing the back yard where breakfast was served. Parking was no trouble: some other guests arrived in a big van With a trailer and found a Place at once. - Very well located B&B on quiet road by the ramparts and within walking distance of all the main sights and restaurants of Selestat. Very spacious 2-roomed apartment with comfortable double bed and separate single room, lovely shower room and outside seating area. We were met by a friend of the owner who was charming and extremely helpful and also made us a superb breakfast (including wheat-free bread for me).

    The owners, Odile and Pierre were so kind and gracious. They made our trip memorable with their kind hospitality and family-like welcome. We had dinner with them one evening (totally worth doing it if you haven't had a French dining experience) and had an awesome time. The food and wine were wonderful, the conversation was delightful. We felt like... what people say » we were part of their family. - The family were very friendly and spoke excellent English. they could not have been more welcoming. Breakfast was mostly home made, even the bread and jams - one of which had been made the day before! the adjustable beds were novel and very comfortable. plenty of space for our family of 4.
