  The friendliness of the staff. They spoke English and Spanish which helped because we spoke little French. The room was so comfortable. The shower, hot pot and view of the Repulique were all a plus. Can't wait to come back to see the new hotel renovations. Excellent Metro locations. Safe area. Easy taxis service. Rachel checked us in. She w... what people say » as pleasant and welcoming. Siad was cool! - The staff were extremely accomodating and friendly. We had a plumbingproblem with our original room and immediately we were upgraded to abetter room at no extra charge. We will stay there again, found thelocation excellent and we enjoyed this hotel more than the expensive 5star hotels where we previously stayed in Paris (Champs Elysee area).

  It turns out the General Hotel was overbooked, so they rebooked me into another hotel, member of the same chain, Le Quartier Bastille. The room was (for Paris and this price point) spacious and clean, the amenities fine. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Overall my experience was very good. - Very good location.   The room was clean and relatively large, the bed was comfortable and the hotel staff was very accomodating. We were very pleased with the hotel. It had a spacious private bath by the standards we saw in other hotels there, The location was excelent for us, as we were able to walk to the Isle de Cite as well as the Place de la Revolution and Bastil... what people say » e. - The staff were really helpful.
