Really enjoyed the relaxed and peaceful atmosphere / location. Staff and management very friendly and welcoming. Room comfortable and spotlessly clean and uniquely in my experience there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The grounds are beautifully maintained and sun loungers were very useful !! Dinner was really superb and fair value with excellent service standards and 'baronial' dining room location. Like the emphasis on running the hotel in as eco-friendly a way as possible.
all reviews » I felt welcome - and my three border collies were made very welcome too as soon as it was seen that they were well behaved and quiet. Other guests were unobtrusive, friendly - and most were probably retired and a nice mix of nationalities. The hotel allowed me a comfortable and relaxing few days. The menu that was provided for "demi-pension" was delicious. Breakfast was a varied and generous buffet. Everything! The hotel and location lovely--very peaceful. The dining experience was one of the best I have experienced in a very long time--par excellence! A beautiful expereince. I will return. The location in the rural area with easy access to Locranon, the peace and quiet, the warm welcome and spacious comfortable room, the great service from staff. Countryside setting with the restored Manor buildings put to such good use E.G. old stable block renovated to provide excellent accommodation. calm outside space, birds in the woods, quality of the restaurant & food, privacy, room by the fountain. Attractive buildings, charming bedroom in ?converted stables. Immaculate room in attractive surroundings. The manoir and the location,the restaurant. bed comfortable. Breakfast was rather pricy at 12 Euro per person and dinner menu, though excellent, was limited choice-wise. The room's (very welcome) tea/coffee making facility would benefit from daily replenishment and provision of uht milk jiggers (we brought in our own milk). I felt comfortable enough to mention that the music in the restaurant seemed rather intrusive and gloomy to me. This was, of course, a subjective view. The proprietor listened to this very small moan with great courtesy. I liked it all--it was a real privilege. Nothing. Extra charge for use of coffee making facilities in the room. tacky signs on the local roads to the Manoir, broken direction sign nearby, towels getting worn out. Dinner menu limited; breakfast choice not up to standard of other relais de silence/Sawdays. rooms are small. Dinner menu not for us so we had to go to Locronan by taxi. Consider more menu choices. Breakfast was OK but focussed on small portions. Orangerie rooms desparately need updating and were not clean. Breakfast not good choice or value for money.
