The public areas on the ground floor were accessibleand tastefully decorated and provided the full range of services onemight want.   This is a beautiful hotel in the center of core Paris resulting in having all top spots (sightsing, restaurants and shopping) within walking distance. The hotel consists of 6 floors and we enjoyed a standard room (nr. 66 – Justine & Charles) on the 6th floor. Our window faced the back yard and was really nothing to special - This hotel experience was superb. The staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly, which is extremely welcome in a city known for hostility to visitors. The rooms and common areas look superb and recently renovated. The deluxe double room we stayed in was lovely and had a very comfortable washroom and shower. Daily turndown service was an added and unexpected bonus. We loved the decor of the Regina and even though there was renovations happening, we were not at all inconvenienced by them. Our stay - The hotel's location is excellent - major attractions within walking distance. Our rooms ( looking over Place des Pyramides/Rue de Rivoli ) were spacious and spotless offering fine expansive views taking in the Eiffel Tower and Louvre, two Paris icons - what's not to love?! Regina's staff were very friendly and accommodating helping to make the stay there was most enjoyable. Am not able to comment on food at the hotel as we ate out at all times.
