Room size ok for Paris. Bathroom spacious and clean. Wifi works really well. Breakfast is good (in French terms). Nice bistros/cafes in the neighbourhood - lovely area with narrow streets and lovely houses. Well- working transportation system (even busses!) to anywhere in Paris! Warmly recommended!

Grey-violet colours are stylish but dark and make the room look smaller and especially the corridor very narrow. Doors are thin so you hear everything from the hall.

Very elegant, comfortable and clean hotel. There are 2 metro statins nearby, less than 10 minutes walk. You can get from these tow metro stations to most attractions and city center by 15 minutes. The hotel is located in a very nice area, which means than you can have a good breakfast or dinner around the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel was great. Very recommanded.

Great neighbourhood with lots of good restaurants, bakeries and bars. Easy access to metro station. Air conditioning worked well, good design in rooms, convenient mini bar and fridge, breakfast was good but pricey.

The location was great - we enjoyed being in what felt like an authentic Parisian suburb - lots of nice restaurants and bars nearby (try La Bonne Cave opposite the hotel). The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the design was modern. We had a great view of the rooftops of Paris from our room.

The room was very small - we were only there for three nights and it didn't bother us at all, but it might if you aren't used to small European hotel rooms.

I didn't know the area at all, and didn't want to waste time searching for everything and didn't have my i-phone. An the night receptionist googled everything for me, printed stuff off and directed me. Nothing was too much trouble, I was feeling tired and they even let me stay an hour later. The hotel in itself was very modern, quiet, clean and had gorgeous design features and furniture.....lovely place!!! Would stay again!!!!

The room was really clean and the airconditioning was effective and silent.

The door did not insulate outside sounds at all. There was a bunch of noisy Chinese travellers in the rooms around mine and I didn't need an alarm clock because they'd start screaming in the morning :). I saw at least one big spider and one silverfish worm in the room, which made me think that there could be more.

Good luck sleeping in any later than about 9. The maids are incredibly loud and the walls are paper thin. It honestly sounded like we were beneath a bowling alley every morning while we were there.

Very near shopping mall called italie 2. It has carrefour supermarket in it. Many restaurants n cafes mearby. Metro station place d'italie is better to use than corvisart.

I stayed from 8-12 June 2013. Both receptionists not warm or friendly or very helpful. Guy on the last day seemed better.

We were delighted with this small and pretty hotel. We booked for a double room but we were given a relatively large one, considering Paris standards, and with an extra bed. The bed and sheets were very clean, separate bath and toilet were of comfortable sizes, very clean and dominantly white, and the room was extremely quiet. We enjoyed the romantic walk of the neighborhood, onto the Metro Station, with many interesting restaurants and pubs. Tried the breakfast and this too was sufficient. Loved the freshly squeezed orange and the many choices of coffee. We will definitely go back to this hotel when in Paris.

I think lighting can be improved. Putting on bright warm lights will perk up the room some more.

The hotel is very clean and located in somewhere quite central. Stuff are very nice and helpful. Top floors 5 and 6 have an amazing view. I absulately enjoyed staying there with my friends and family. It's really good value for the money paid.

Super great location close to metro station from where yóu can reach every point in the city. Rooms are nicely furnished and wifi free in the rooms works perfect . Nice breakfast in the morning. The hotel staff is very kind and helpful

Everything about the hotel was great. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was decent sized for a Parisian hotel, the bathroom was clean & well supplied & the bed was comfortable. I'm a woman who was travelling solo & felt very safe here. The hotel is in a great neighborhood, lots of bars & restaurants that seemed to be frequented by locals, & close to two Metro stops one of which goes to the Eiffel towe.

Staff was great. Quiet location. Good "locals" restaurant right accross the street. Less than 10 minute walk to metro stop "Place d'Italie" -- easy to get to all locations. Room was very small but that is to expect in Paris and reasonable price. Beds were comfortable and room was clean.

Very clean, well organized, & new or newly renovated facility. Fresh, new sheets, pillows, towels & no carpets. With towel warmers, & the best aerated shower head in the world! Good safe & fridge in the room.

Room is quite small almost as small as Tokyo hotel rooms, so not enough room to sit/relax. Need a mirror in the room too. Hangar height too low for coats over safe. Need to provide (or charge for?) disposable slippers for guests. Location a bit difficult to find initially, as L'esperance not on most maps.

The room was exceptionally clean and well serviced on a daily basis with fresh towels and soaps laid out. Staff at the desk were helpful and spoke in both French and English, and secure free Wifi was provided. The hotel was only about 7 metro stops from all the big attractions. Overall, it was a superb place to stay.

There was very little that I didn't like. Perhaps the room was a bit small, though it suited me perfectly.

Great location - lots of lively and friendly restaurants and bars. Easy access to the major sights of Paris by metro. Hotel: tasteful decor, small but comfortable rooms, light and airy. Did not take breakfast but there is a kettle, tea, coffee in the room and a fridge. Good views over the surounding rooftops from the 5th floor.

Needed a coatstand or some hooks for hanging coats. Also in the shower area, for hanging wet towels. Some fixtures in the shower were loose and need maintenance (room 503).

The hotel is located in a nice neighbourhood. Staff is friendly and they will help you about anything. Wi-fi is free and has average speed. New noise-isolated rooms.

Rooms are very small. You have to walk 5-6 minutes to the metro station and there are stairs close to the station (about 50 steps).

The receptionists were very polite. The room was fresh and modern, and the bathroom was squeaky clean. The metro stop is only a short walk away. Great place!
