great part of paris, close to metro, cafes, and the staff were always helpful!. very quiet and pleasant yet only a few minutes from Montparnasse station. It was in a nice quiet street but still close to cafe's, bars shops etc, it had 2 metro lines within a couple of minutes walk from the hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful if we asked for information. Easy to get to montparnasse station, quiet for city centre.

Minor: where o where to lay down your shampoo and soap while having a shower?!. Charging €6 for a simple breakfast of bread and tea/orange. The lack of tea / coffee / water facilities in the room. Charging €2 per fifteen minutes on the internet.I will remark that the sanitary room seems rather small. The hotel was extremely hard to find. Be prepared to carry luggage upstairs. We were very upset that there was no heat in the hotel. It wasfine at night when you were in bed, but during the day if we wanted todo some computer work, it was freezing. It comes on next week, great! Weasked for our breakfast to be comped one day, the guy didn't speakenough English to help us. That was frustrating.There was no air-conditioning and it was very hot. The fit out of the room is quite dated and old, but then again it was more important that it was clean.Breakfast was horrible and it is a better idea to avoid it, the hotel is undergoing refurbishment so it was very noisy (even though I assume that when finished it will be quiet). The bathroom does not have anything else except soap, no shower gel or shampoo even though again, I do not see this as a huge problem. furniture was ugly, but everything was clean.Room not large or particularly attractive. Max. For one night stay: old and dusty rooms. Very basic in need of decoration. Breakfast and serving were very poor. Small Room. Worst decoration.
