This is a very special place - the position of which is surely unsurpassed for being instantly able to immerse yourself in the very best of architypal Paris. Sacre Coeur is but a short stroll away, and for those short on time,there really is the perfect photo around every corner. I travelled by myself,had jet lag and was only able to stay one night, but I'm so glad I did. Every member of staff was exceedingly polite, helpful and showed grace in all that they did. And that brings me to the hotel.
all reviews » This was an amazingly beautiful hotel - exceptionally clean and the theme was SO much fun. Love hearts everywhere, purple and red decor... It felt really special. The staff were wonderful and I was thrilled with our room. It was cozy and very comfortable but also fun and exciting. The breakfast was very very good for such a small hotel and the location was fabulous, right under Sacre Coeur and the art district. The location was a.m.a.z.i.n.g!! A 2 minute walk to sacre coeur on a lovely street and the hotel itself was beautiful. Our room was small but perfectly proportioned, clean, stylish and very romantic! Also, the shower was fab- very powerful! We loved everything about the stay and the staff also could not have been more helpful and friendly. Very much recommended and we hope to return soon!. The whole experience! It was exceptional from start to finish. The staff were extremely helpful, the rooms very relaxing with comfortable beds and pillows (very unusual experience for me). The location was perfect and only a 20 minute walk from the Gare du Nord. The hotel was for our honey moon and was the most romantic place. There were fresh rose petals on the most comfortable bed, the staff were brilliant and the location was superb at the base of the Sacre Coeur !!. Good location - 2 minutes stairwalk to the Sacre-coeur Basilica, very helpful and friendly staff, cozy and comfortable rooms. Very good breakfasts - plenty to choose from. The room, as beautiful as it was, was quite small, but while I booked a single room, I had a double bed, which was good. Only downside was the nearest location of the Metro Chatteau Rouge, which can hardly be helped. The neighborhood down the hill was fine, but not one I want to be walking through too late at night. Nothing!. No tea and coffee making facilities in the guest rooms. Nothing. A bit high priced. The room is small (usual standard in paris however). Room was not huge but had everything we needed in it with a nice comfortable bed. The room was not ready when I checked in the early afternoon, so had to wait in the lounge, and they made me pay for the mineral water I ordered. The drinks prices in the hotel are reasonable, so I don't mind, it was more the idea of making the client pay for a drink whilst waiting for their room that I found strange?. No coffee facilities in room. All was great. Rooms are very small. to checkout ;-). Being elderly and a little unsteady a small grab rail at the entrance to the hotel and the step up to lift and breakfast room would be an asset. From an elderly persons perspective. It had hair on the shower walls. On a previous visit to Paris I stayed at Hotel Amour. I had planned to book again however I though I'd try somewhere else for a change. Compared to Hotel amour paris it does not come close to it's design, quality, feel and price. The rooms are extremely small even we booked deluxe room. It looks like in the pictures but it doesn't feel like in the pictures at all. It's an average hotel I don't know why it's 4star. Not worth the money. Despite their ads they do not have internet throughout the hotel, so don't use for business. Not a 1 time issue either, have stayed before and had the same problem. Smallest room I've had in Paris (smallest I've had in the world, actually). Microscopic bathroom. Pricey for what you get. The tiny tiny room, bathroom and loo. We had to leave our cases in the lobby as they wouldn't fit in the room. Location is not great. We had ants in the bathroom There was a strong Tabasco smell coming from outside. None if the windows face outdoor, but to an inside of the bldg. where people can smoke .
