The room was compact but there was everything you needed including lots of space to hang clothes. The breakfast was really lovely - lots of choice and a variety of fresh products. The location is fantastic - you can get all around Paris easily from Republique metro. The room was very clean and the shower was great. The room was very quiet. The reception staff were extremeley polite and helpful.
all reviews » The location was brilliant, within a quick walk of The Marais and all it has to offer. The attitude of staff was most helpful as well. Cleanliness was tops, and a nice change from some hotels I have found in the past. All in all, everyone did all they could to help me during my stay. Also for someone who isn't a good sleeper, the quietness of the hotel was most pleasing. The staff was great especially Nelson. I was really homesick one night and not feeling well and he cheered me up and went the extra mile to make sure I felt welcome and happy in Paris. If it wasn't for Nelson then my trip to Paris would have been a huge let down and I wouldn't have ever recommended it. He made Paris a great place to visit!. I was in the airport in Barcelona and was desperately looking for a hotel. I was glad I was able to find this hotel in the neighborhood that I like to stay in. A bit pricey for me but will worth the great luxurious bed and the fabulous shower head and shower. If I have the funds, I would stay there again. Loved it. Very comfy bed, nice and modern. The room is small, but no complaints here, perfect for a stay in Paree. Location is excellent especially for young solo travelers - area is like a young uni town, plenty around, and only a short walk to the Marais which was great. Hotel Gabriel is a nice,little hotel.Its has own unique style, which is modern and white. Breakfast was wide-ranging and delicious.We had a anniversary, hotel personal made us lot of different small suprices- it was memorable. The hotel was lovely. The room was amazing and we had a large bathroom with a free standing bath, rare in Paris and an unexpected treat. Would definitely stay there again and will recommend to all of my friends. Everything in this hotel was elegant, clean & beautiful. We loved the tranquil, fragrant ambience and beautifully comfortable beds. The only negative comment that I have is regarding the shower and the fact that you have to constantly battle water splashing on to the floor. There doesn't seem to be any solution to this problem, at least not in the room that I had. They never gave me my wake up call when I checked out on 5/14/2013. I almost missed my flight and had to spend extra money on a cab instead of taking the train. It was a taller person who was filling in for the night for someone else and he even warned me that they might not call in the am. You have to set your own wake up calls at this hotel. The shower was a bit ridiculous - it flooded the bathroom. Nothing, it was all perfect. Nothing,. Breakfast room very crowded - difficult to move around. I-pod dock didn't work. bath sink was clogged bath had a musty odor (rm 402). The Breakfast Buffet was a little disorganised and the staff needed to be a little more proactive ensuring items were being kept 'topped Up'. Breakfast was not included and rate was high. Bathroom needs a door because water came out when you took a shower. room too small. It would have been nice to have more room/shelf space for toiletries in the bathroom. Dont get a room near the stairs as you can hear every footstep. The standard room is a shoebox. No place to move around, nothing a clever design could fix. Also, i could hear people walking on upper floors and in the staircase. The room was a bit small, and it was fairly pricy. &Quot;20" right across the street was pretty much as nice but 50 - 70 dollars cheaper. For being a small 3-star hotel, it was great. But keep in mind that it's a small 3-star hotel.
