Great location. Quiet area, easy walk to the Metro and Gare de Lyon train station, and within 10 to 15 minute walk to the Bastille, Notre Dame and Latin Quarter. Very modern and updated hotel with a modern elevator to access upper floors. Rooms are small, which is not unusual for Paris, but nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed. Bathrooms are modern and very efficiently laid out. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Free Wi-Fi works well. There are great markets on several blocks of .
all reviews » This is a quiet around-the-corner hotel; I stayed on the 5th floor street-side. Yet, the lively atmosphere of the bistro’s near Gare de Lyon is just a minute walk. The rooms are as you see them on the pictures: clean design and in very clean condition. The staff recommends dinner at the brasserie L’Européen on Blvd Diderot, opposite the Gare de Lyon: excellent food in a nice location. Breakfast is of good quality served in the basement, tourists my prefer to go out. Wireless internet is free . Very convenient to Gare de Lyon and thus the metro and the direct bus to CDG. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were good and more varied (with eggs, fruit, cheese and cold cuts, not just croissants). The room was compact but well designed and we were able to fit 2 suitcases and set ourselves up so that we could still generally move around. Clean and pleasant hotel with comfortable beds, good towels and windows that open. Very friendly and helpful staff who all spoke good English and didn't cringe at my poor French.
