The style of the bedrooms Large size rooms for Paris, Quality of the towels, bedding, toiletries provided. little extras, like free soft drinks, espresso machine, umbrellas. The staff, helpful, polite and extremely welcoming. Calm, quiet and relaxing feel of the hotel. No street noise could be heard in the evenings, the rooms were very well sound proof so could not hear other guests coming and going.
all reviews » This hotel is almost brand new. My husband and I loved the design and our room was fabulous. Very comfortable bed and arm chairs. The staff were also very courteous and helpful. We've stayed in various hotels in Paris. This one beats them all. We also ate at the restaurant of the hotel, and highly recommend it!. We were upgraded and had a very nice suite. The location is a little outside the direct central of Paris but it is a good thing as the hotel is located in the back streets which means its nice and quiet :). Very stylish hotel, great staff, and good food. 20 minute walk from Gare du Nord, and 20 minutes from Norte Damn. 5 minutes from Grands Boulevards which has a direct connection to the Eiffel Tower. Lots of local amenities for a night out within walking distance. Excellent stay. It helped the hotel opened recently so everything was new and I was able to get a comparatively cheap promotional price. However the hotel seems very professional and I expect it will continue to remain a great place to stay in the coming years. The hotel is very well situated, close to the city centre and all important tourist locations. The hotel staff put in their effort to give you a good service. Overnight (not day) parking only at Eur. 25,- and valet service available. We will come back again !. Propably the best hotel I`ve been to. Everything was great. The hotel is new. My bed was comfortable. Breakfast a little expensive but similar to other hotels of that standard in Paris. My husband and I didn't have the buffet, apart from a drink, but ordered eggs and bacon at 8 euros each. However we were still charged for the buffet which is a minimum charge. Breakfast - mug of tea, an egg and two rashers of bacon, 54 euros. The breakfast could have included cheese and ham (which was available but at an extra cost). Nothing. Everything is great. Bit of maintenance work that started at 9am in the morning, you could say a wakeup call.... Area could have been a little nicer, but nothing too bad. It would have been nice if cooked options for the included breakfast hadn't cost extra but this isn't unusual for Europe. This hotel is recently opened. Only a few small remarks what needs fixing to meet the 5-star rating: - No facial tissues on the room - No luguage rack on the room - No towel rack (where to leave towels after taking a shower ?) Please bear in mind, althoug it is a five star hotel, it is in Paris so the rooms are small. (Room size is well advertised ). There is not bidet in the toilet. Water pressure is very low. It is about 10 minutes on foot from the nearest metro station. There was a lot of noise from the street on the last night I stayed there. The bath is not really useable - water fill speed is too slow - but the shower is good. The sink is very stylish but not as functional as a proper bowl shape. Nothing. Nothing. This sets a new standard for Paris for me. Thought it was a little pricey, but it is Paris..... Nothing. The hotel bar was on the expensive side. Paying for Nespresso capsules and tea bags. Room smelled as if there had been water damage at some point, leaving a musty mildew smell but was otherwise very nice. * Standard breakfast did not include ham, cheese and eggs. All these were extras charged apart. The room/bath space was too small. Also they had some electricity problem due to which the A/C and electrical sockets went out for one night. The Hotel needs to sort out the taxi situation on leaving the hotel. It was the smallest room I have ever had. If I only were with my husband, it would be next to impossible to be there. The breakfasts are poor (bread + yogurt). It is not 5-star hotel for sure - no facilities, the only restaurant is closed on Sundays.
