The stairwell and halls were underconstruction and were not what you would expect when paying that kindof money. I would recommend the hotel once the renovations arecompleted (possibly a year). I've never paid in my life the total amount of the price in advance.No coffee in the room. Had to use the coffee dispensing machine to get hot water for our babies milk, should be able to access a kettle. The initial room had not been cleaned properly; after complaining about this I immediately got a much better room, so that was fine apart from the delay it caused. The internet computer was out of service. TV hook-up only makes sense, if the channels are tuned properly and if there are other than only French channels.Unusually they insisted on payment on arrival - never happened to me. PC was broken all weekend - unhelpful. Site was down as 3 star.....when official hotel plaque says 2 star. Breakfast room photo misleading. Very rude receptionist on duty at check-in. Costly. Noisy (due to traffic outside). Paper thin walls (could hear everything from neighbouring rooms). We were asked to settle our bill up front on arrival. I have never been requested to do so before. The first night they put us into a tiny and very noisy double room because the room they had original booked us into was a double single bed room which was not what we booked.Should be much more flexible about breakfast. hotel staff was unfriendly!!room and bed was very very small for 2 persons!. They were doing renovations and the lobby was a mess. yes, as above. The cleanliness, the state of repair, the price and the lack of facilities.The hotel was being renovated and they gave us a modern room but therenovation process was still on progress with noise starting at 7am -right above our heads!!!! What a horrible experience - as we were askedto pay the 4 days in advance(what we did on cash) we had no choice butstay at that hotel...
