Staff was expecting us and very friendly. Location was great. It was good to have the use of an elevator (lift) and a computer with internet access. Breakfast area downstairs was cozy with a good selection for continental type. The location, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff were all excellent.Discreet friendly staff. The hotel staff were friendly, extremely helpful, gave us some great recommendations for restaurants and boat rides, made our shuttle reservations for us to get back to the airport, and were just lovely people in general.

The room was very small and CNN didn't work on the TV for some reason.room was very small. the wrong totaly stank of stale cigarette smoke,. when we arrived they had only reserved one room not the two booked, we were given a room for four but do not reccomend this for four adults !. Rooms very small, not suitabel for people with small children. We weretraveleing with a baby there was no space in the room for the baby bed. The beds were very uncomfortable, the room very cold and when phoning reception to ask for more heating were promptly told 'non'. It was tiny room with no bar fridge.

From Charles-de-Gaulle Airport (about 45 minutes):
Take the RER train line B towards Paris as far as Gare du Nord. From there take Metro line 5 towards Place d'Italie and get out at Bastille.

Alternatively, take the Air France Bus to Gare de Lyon, then Metro line 1 towards La Défense. Get out at Bastille.

From Orly Airport (about 40 minutes):
Take the Orlybus as far as Anthony, then RER line B Paris until you reach Chatelet. From there take Metro line 1 towards Château de Vincennes and get out at Bastille.

By Train:
From Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est (15 minutes):
Take Metro line 5 towards Place d'Italie and get out at Bastille.

From Gare Saint Lazare (20 minutes):
Take Metro line 3 towards Gallieni and get out at République. Change to Metro line 5 towards Place d'Italie, then get out at Bastille.

From Gare d'Austerlitz (10 minutes):
