The Hotel is family-owned and run and the lovely, relaxed atmospherereflects this. The young couple have worked very hard to make the PreGaloffre a delightful and comfortable place to stay. Their staff made usfeel so welcome and always took the time to greet us whenever we passed.The food was excellent, as was the service. I wouldn`t hesitate to usethis hotel again. Beautiful hotel, new interiors with good finishes, bathrooms. Wonderful staff who speak English, good beds, TV, Great breakfast by the pool. Well located for people with cars who want to explore Nimes and the surrounding cities. We'd love to return sometime. A real bargain for the money!!.
all reviews » The couple who run the hotel are completely charming. They work incredibly hard to ensure that guests have an excellent holiday. The food was magnificent, the hotel decor stylish and the general ambience was friendly and welcoming. The owner of the hotel is also an excellent cook for French food. He prepared tasty breakfast and dinner for all his hotel guests everyday.Quiet and secluded hotel within easy reach of Nimes by bus.Very welcoming and helpful. There was no lunch menu and it was a bit remote to go elswhere as I had to leave my wife without the car. But it was such a good place they made her a sandwich.The person serving breakfast was very unfriendly. Through no fault of the hotel, no restaurants were open in the immediate vicinity of the hotel due to the change of season. Not enough info in the room about facilities, missed dinner as a result.We would have liked tea making facilities but know that this doesn'tusually happen Abroad. brekky bit expensive; no coffee making in room.The staff was quite small which would not normally be a problem but only one was fluent english speaking. This person, the owner was extremely helpful but there was one man working qute alot who was often rude and unhelpful, which made aspects of the stay unpleasant. during winter the floor is very cold.Very basic for price. Small pool, otherwise no facilities. Room facilities limited. No hair dryer, no plugs in bath or basin, no shampoo, hand lotion, etc, no glasses or even plastic beakers. Generally wholesome, but what one would expect in a lower price category. No menu choice (or written menu or price that we could see) - 'its fish' - turned out OK.
