It was amazing hotel with a great city view. We did not want to make a reservation near the beach that is why it was a great pleasure to stay there. For all travelers by car it has a great location and free parking in front. Please check the e-mail before arrival, owners will write you all information about entrance. Front desk is not working 24h - it is written in the important info. The best view of Nice you can get in a private hotel. The bus from downtown stops directly in front of the hotel, so easy to get around.The owners are also travelers and know how to make your stay in Nice most enjoyable. The food is all fresh and prepared by the owners. We took dinner at the hotel both nights and would do it again.
all reviews » Holel Le Panoramic is a small family run hotel overlooking Nice with convenient public parking. Getting into Nice was a short bus and tram trip, made easier by helpful advice from Valerie and Gino. Our room was clean and comfortable, with the same great view over Nice and the sea. A very welcoming hotel. + Warmly welcome of the owners. + extremely charming venue, cosy rooms + nice and quiet + nice city easily reachable yet you are a little bit seperated from the urban sprawl + awesome view over Nice city and the sea + did I mention it was super charming?. Service was excellent. Gino & Valerie were most gracious and helpful hosts. Breakfast was excellent and good value. Very clean and comfortable.Locaton is great if you enjoy walking as we do otherwise you will need to plan transport up the hill. The owners, Valerie and Gino were extremely friendly and gave us plenty of advise on what to see in Nice and the surrounding areas. Parking the car was free and every one of the five nights we were able to locate a spot nearby. Awesome views of Nice. Very helpful staff and usually free parking available- I would highly encourage hiring a car!! It would be a fair walk up a big hill to get here by foot and buses don't run very often. The management was fantastic and very helpful in making our stay as comfortable as possible. The view from the room was that of the entire town of Nice, and we were blessed with fantastic weather too. Super-friendly welcome by owners themselves. Nothing too much trouble. Excellent breakfast combined with the superb views of the city. View from my room was stunning. We had a comfortable bed and shower/bathroom was excellent. Would stay here again. Worth noting when catching the free bus from Requier station, catch it from the bus stop opposite the train station. No mini fridge in the room. Very thin walls!!. The hotel is on a road with not-too-great parking (not a problem if you don't drive). The rooms are very basic, and might not be to everyone's taste - we loved the rustic feel!. A little difficult in taking luggage down stairs but not all rooms have the same access .. So it does depend on your room. The location was difficult to find, difficult for parking and room access. The location was also a bit distant from the main parts of the city. Small bathroom and pretty far from the center. It was further from the water than I thought but easy access and excellent public transportation. No car park. Breakfast was a bit to expensive in my opinion (12€ per Person). Walking up the hill. - Location is considered far from heart of Nice. - Better to have Car to reach hotel. - No 24 Hours front desk service they leave you password to enter the hotel outside the working hour. No parking arfea near the hotel. Breakfast is poor. Bed and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable and we were made to feel very uncomfortable by the Valerie about our children and their mess. I wouldn't recommend people with young children stay here.
