The service was faultless and the facilities excellent. The staff were 1st class all around.beautiful view and outdoor deck. Room quality and aspect. WOW... A great location. Across the street from the beaches, walking distances to the tram and old town. A great hotel.. Little more then i would typically spend but well worth the value!!!. The location is perfect and the deal we got was really good. I loved the fact that the rooftop pool is heated and I could swim in it in Feb.

Roof top pool is fabulous, great service and location. My husband and I have stayed here before and again we were not disappointed with the service or the room in our hotel. Breakfast is awesome and Dinner is superb @ the Restaurant in the Hotel. The Chef is the best!! Only suggestion is maybe more variety of food available via room service after 11pm, but apart from that Le Meridien Nice did us proud once again. I was surprised that there were no robes in the rooms, especially when you consider that there is a pool. I also expected more cosmetic-type items like body-lotion. Still under refurbishment with some work in progress. nothing. they advertise a fitness center, sauna, hammam etc., but the fitness is only open to guests free of charge during inconvenient hours, and the sauna hammam etc. are never open to guests without extra charge. This is a bit dishonest. Also internet connection in room is very expensive... .60 eurocents per minute for a max of 23 euros per day. The decor of the hotel apart from the room was outdated.Rooms (bathrooms) may need some renovation but overall good. the food in the room service and the meniue in the resturant. Door on the wardrobe of our daughters' room was broken and the room reeked of of cigarettes. Their hair drier unhelpfully only worked if you manually kept button down whilst drying hair. The heating in the lounges was too hot and not suffient non smoking areas. Otherwise no problems. The gym. the room we stayed in the second time was quite shabby, the location of the reception was awkward and under construction with no bathroom in the reception area! ; there needs to be affordable internet many hotels include this for free; there should be a coffee maker and kettle in the rooms; beds are too close together for friends travelling together;. one entry only, and there is a casino and McDonalds, tacky!!. Balkony in superior-rooms seems to be a "French balkony". This is not a balcony you can sit or stand on. This is not mentioned on the site. Only a few rooms have a real balcony, that is a terras. We were lucky to a be able to change the "balcony-room" to an available "teras-room" the second day. But if all are full, one can get very disapointed. The breakfast (not included) is expensive/chaotic.Corridors are dark, more light is better. Parking garage was uncomfortable; had to walk up stairs from floor -3 to -2, not easy with full luggage and two children. Also no immediate access to hotel?. overpriced. Having to pay for sunbeds at the pool. Needs renovation. The main entrance was difficult to find and the drinks at the hotel bar were very expensive. The rooms need renovation. They nickel and dime you to the extreme. Example : you have to pay$27 for 23 minutes of Internet connection that is usually free in anyhotel of this class. The American breakfast is also around $30 forthe equivalent of a $2.99 grand slam from denny'S... Internetconnection est payante : 23 euro pour 23 minutes. Petit dejeuneramericain est 26 euros !. the bathrooms need a relifting. the Fitness centre was not good and no enough equipments. no coffee makr in room. charges for facilites. The pool, well, for sure looks good in the pictures… The bathroom door were broken and the cleaning ladies could use some vacuum cleaner. Plus WHY do they pretend they care about the environment if they change the towels even when they are NOT asked to and they leave the light turned on for I don’t know how many hours apparently to create a so-called “ambiance”???. cleanliness and maintance of room. Room and lobby construction. Our room was so dirty beyond more our expectation .After our check in ,we had to wait luggage for one hour and half .Even we called rescption several times ,just they said one minute every time . i find the reception staff stiff and unhelpful and does not make me feel welcome. this is so different from reception staff at hotels in asia - where they are always eager to help and smiles a lot!. Old Hotel, old decoration, very uncomfotable beds with terrible matresses, bad service, expensive for the quality. Filthy rooms aircon not working noisy plumbing.

Le Meridien Nice offers 318 newly styled bedrooms, combining Mediterranean style with contemporary touches. Most of the rooms have a balcony or terrace, and they are either overlooking the sea, Albert I Gardens or quiet patio.

The hotel provides white, soft duvets and large pillows for a home-sweet-home intimacy, with cushions on the bed.

To strengthen the cosy feel in the bathroom, there are soft deluxe towels in a wicker basket. A black lacquered plate and a chromium-plated box constitute the basic elements of the stylish decor.
