Lovely old character place, hidden in Garibaldi pretty well so make sure you find it by number because there's no big sign, nor do the locals recognise it by name! Brilliant location, easily accessible by bus from airport (no. 98, ask ticket office at airport which stop you need), easy access to bus for Monaco (no. 100 - piffling 1.5 euro!). 3 minute walk to port and 100 yards from museum of modern art.
The place itself is run by the non English speaking Henri, who is lovely. The building is v. all reviews »

Le Blason is very French in every way to the extent that the proprietors don't speak English, so you have to communicate in French or international sign language and pictures! However, this shouldn't detract from the acco.
Place Garibaldi is a superb position for exploring Nice Old Town ,the port ,and easy access to the beach .Transport links were excellent with bus service taking you directly to/from the airport.
The Proprietor was very welcoming and the petite dejeuner was excellent !
Beautiful antique furniture and really lovely pieces of china/pottery .
The chambres d'hotes is furnished throughout with beautiful antiques and is the complete opposite of what you normally experience in a budget hotel.
The owner is very proud of his establishment, which is well run. He is
also friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is very good.
Not having toilet in room.
Nothing really - we travel to Nice frequently and this is the best place we have stayed in to date.
Their was no toilet in the sale de bain only a shower and basin ,which are need of up grading !.
There was no hot water in our shower!.
Our bathroom was not private to ourselves as it was located down a
corridor and might have had to be shared if there were more people
staying. At 140 euros per night, the price was very high for a small
chambre d'hote.
