  This Auberge is in a wonderful location, the gardens are beautiful. Our room was fine with a balcony and view of the garden. Breakfast was OK for the price. There is also an excellent bar across the road which agreed to make the four of us some food as the restaurant at the Auberge was fully booked ( see negative comments). - Excellent hotel clo... what people say » se to both beaches and countryside. The Hotel garden is lovely with terraces alongside the river which passes through it. Rooms are good with views of garden and river. Restaurant is top class with a very interesting menu at affordable prices. Nice breakfast with plenty of choice.

Seen much comment about the breakfast but, in fairness, we thought the ambiance, service, panoramic view, cleanliness and, though restricted choice of food, was well worth. They were very accommodating and stored our cycles safely, even getting them out in the morning for us for the early ferry. The bedroom was clean and equipped with toiletries. The bed was very comfortable. Excellent location for the beach, shops, ferry etc.

  This hotel is excellent. Very attentive staff and nothing is too much trouble. I used to work in the travel industry and believe me this hotel is worthy of 4 stars. - We arrived after the office was closed, but they were prepared for us and made sure we were taken care of.The breakfast was very good, and the staff very gracious.
