Small kitchen convenient for family with children. very clean and tidy. i arrived before check-in time, but the staff was so nice and gave me the key. pretty much everything was great, and good value. The fact I had the facilities in the accomodation to prepare food as being vegetarian it is not easy to always eat out.free internet, friendly staff and a kitchenette with a little freezer and a quiet location. all reviews »
Quiet, central location, spacious well-equipped room.Markets. Good location Staff were very good at dealing with the problem of not having received the booking from you!!!!. Receptionist was the only staff we met and was exceptionally polite and firendly. She spoke very good English. location was short walk and located in a nice quiet area, room iteself was really clean and spacious.central location. Garaging. Cost is not much expensive. But the location is quite far from the metro station. I need to walk ~ 15 mins to the metro station.It was close to the venue we neeed to be at. Able to make drinks/snacks in the kitchenette. Very helpful staff. Good location, 15 minutes walking from old city center (Grand Place).Cleanliness of room and location (near to centre). Easy access to city. Location and friendly staff. Despite the description as being located in a lively area, in the summer when the university was closed it was very quiet yet offered good access to the centre of Lille.Once iside the room it was well sized,clean offered good facilities. Bookings.com reservation was not received by hotel. We therefore had to take 2 double rooms instead of a 2-room appartment. well we didnt have hot water in a couple of our rooms on different days which was a nusience, we werent offered a discount although the staff offered us a seperate room with hot water to use. I was initially put off by the corridors as they seemed institutionalised rather like a college residence. Unfortunately, the receptionist had to organise breakfast, wash up and check out customers. The breakfast room was so busy and over full and ran out of food, coffee and plates and cups. There should have been dedicated staff for the breakfast room. We did receive a refund for our non-existant breakfast.Air extractor, noisy and in need of maintainence. Lack of cutlery, only enough for one person in both rooms. They don't clean my room dishes. Just leave in the room for 4 days.Nowhere to meet up with friends in the evening as the cafe wasn't open and there was no bar area. The type of accommodation is pretty odd. The building is also a residential building, many rooms, also at ground level outside the building not pleasant to stay. Our room was inside the building, also with a window at alley level. Arrival in the garage is pretty easy but then there are not enough signs on how to exit the garage for the reception. No elevator from the garage, hard job with luggages. Basic - two stars adequately describe ti. The room could have been dusted a bit more properly,breakfast can be improved, the bar in the breakfast room, and some of common space could be rennovated.It was not a hotel in the strictest sense, this is a hall of residence.As such the recptionist is used to dealing with students and the assistence offered was zero. I suspect the validity of the parking charge of 8 euros per car.
