to the main train station, 200 meters away, I stayed at the Ibis Styles,
to catch an early train the next morning. There's another Ibis Hotel

Everything. Location. Nice room - newly renovated. They gave me a double with a bath although I had signed up for a promotional single room - very generous. Breakfast was great. They had hot food (eggs and ham) which I could eat - I am diabetic and stay away from carbs. Good selection of carbs for those who can eat them. Excellent staff. Public com

This is a very nice hotel with very clean and comfortable rooms. It was very conveniently located right across from the train station, but was still very quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke English well. The free wifi worked very well in the room. The location was about a 10 minute walk to the Cathedral and other city sites.

This was a fantastic location just the other side of the river from the heart of Strasbourg (several of the best restaurants were nearby) the bells ringing, the breakfasts, the staff were the best! There's a cycle rental nearby which was 15euro for a whole week! We had a fabulous time, and in fact extended our stay a night with no problem.
