  Afraid to end up in a smudgy small sized noisy french hotel with bored personnel, this was complete opposite: of course the room was a bit small, just like the beds (I'm almost 2m), but don't go to France if you don't want that.   The view from the 5th floor! We had two corner rooms and there is a very small ledge balcony that can be accessed out the windows, but only on the 5th. Excellent view of Sac coer. The breakfast served at the hotel is a great value at 7 euro pp, get it! You won't find cheaper in this part of paris. Coffee, juice, breads, cereal, fruit, yogurt. But ... what people say » it's all self serve, which we like. Very clean place, small, but for Paris sight seeing you're not spending that much time in the room anyway. Excelle - Reception staff (females) were very helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable + clean, just be aware that street noise carries on till around midnight. Loved the small balcony (had a wonderful view of Saccra Coeur + the street below). Hotel is located within walking distance to Montmartre & Saccra Coeur, but far away from other sites, so have to use metro. Metro stations within walking distance.

  It was very warm and cozy, it was nice to get to the hotel because it was rainy and cold outside. We had two different rooms since we travelled to Lille in between our stay in Paris. The first room was larger and better than the second on. Excellent location and the price although high it was OK for Paris. - Reasonably easy to find. Wi-Fi was free. Breakfast cost additional 8 euros per day per person, but it was tasty and cheap within the average cost of meal in Paris. There is a lift which isn't common when staying in Paris so the lift was small but useful. The wifi was fast. The room and bathroom were very clean. The facilities were modern and well looked after.
