The hotel was in walking distance of the Louvre and the Eiffel Tour. There were some good eating places nearby. It was good hotel for a city break and not too expensive. Very pleasant and peaceful with a feeling of a Family run business.

  We arrived very early and was unable to check in but we were able to check in room early once ready about 2 hours early. Hotel staff pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable.   We were given a triple room for the double room price. They offered it as they saw that I have kid. Kids stay for free of charge. Very good breakfast. Best I have seen amongst three star hotels.   We stayed in the hotel Valadon, it was very narrow but funcionate. The reception was in an other hotel just across the street but we did not mind. When we arrived in the evning, the portier a young man was very helpfull and serviceminded. The room we stayed in had window towards a back yard and was clean and quiet. We had a double bed and an extra... what people say » bed, so it was really narrow, so was the bathroom too. But everything was functionate and looked newly renovated. For the price, money well spent sinc - Position was great, right next to Rue Cler which had fabulous place for breakfast especially Cafe Central. Ten minute walk to Eiffel Tower and 2 mins to Metro station. Also a laundromat at the top of the street. We had the 2 bedroom family cottage. Our three kids could sleep upstairs and we had the privacy of downstairs. Everyone had plenty of room. Toiletries were abundant.
