  On arrival we were greeted by the owner who ensured our stay was relaxing and very enjoyable. The room we booked was 'The Lady' which was very clean and well appointed with its own private balcony overlooking Nice and the hills beyond. The villa is perfectly situated near to the old port with direct bus routes to the airport and and Monaco. We loved the setting and will miss the - Outstanding, wonderful place to stay. Each room is artistically designed and the owner did most of the art. Very friendly reception and a warm, welcoming breakfast each day. Considering the high price of hotels in Nice, this is a wonderful difference both in terms of value but also in terms of a unique, one-of-a-kind gem of a Nice experience.   I would not have appreciated my visit to Nice as much if I had not stayed at Villa Leonie. Over-all, the atmosphere was exceptional. They are located in a quiet garden setting, but are just a short walk away from grand scenic views of the coastline, the ocean, and the best view of the entire city of Nice. And yet at the same time, they are near to... what people say » the hustle and bustle of everything in the heart of the city. The directrice and her staff were friendly and very helpful. Their information, advice, - A wonderful location - about 5 minutes from a small and relatively quiet beach and a pleasant 15 minute stroll along the sea front into the old town. The welcome couldn't have been warmer and the room was very comfortable and clean. Being able to sit in the lovely garden to read and have breakfast was a real added bonus. If we return to Nice we will gladly stay at Villa Leonie again.

Staff who met us on arrival with keys and on our departure were very nice. - Apartment was les orchidees (or a name like that cant remember exactly), when we initially booked i looked up the apartment we had been assigned and emailed them saying we requested a change of apartment - which they did with no issues. Check in and out no probs, as others stated be aware you need to clean apartment (or pay high fees fir housekeeping). good location. Very well stocked apartment (all cleaning products, tea coffee etc).
