  The hotel was very good comparing to other hotels (more expensive then this one) where I stayed in Paris. Nice, modern facilities. The hotel was recent renovated and it is in very good shape. It is clean, no complains about that. The only thing that I disliked was the room which was very small. The bathroom small but decent. I can not say anything... what people say » about the breakfast because we decided not to pay for it at the hotel. We had breakfast at the many caffeshops nearby. The arrondisement in which the - Nicely located on a quiet pedestrian street just off the Seine, across from Notre Dame. Awesome location. Air conditioning was great and quiet for sleeping. Lovely, newly remodeled room and bathroom with nice shower. They gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne on our arrival. The room is very small - but that's what you get in Paris if you don't pay a fortune. I would definitely stay there again.

The receptionist couldn't have been more efficient and helpful! Wanting to change our return rail tickets,he directed us to a local station rather than the main line terminal, saving two time and money wasting taxi rides. Knowing that one of us had become not well, he happily agreed to us delaying our checkout , allowing us to rest in the room and avoid a tediously long wait at the station. The bar was divinely intimate and lit for lovers like us in mind, the reception area was so beautiful and our superior room was well appointed too with grand windows covered in miles of sumptuous fabric. We loved the decor of the Regina and even though there was renovations happening, we were not at all inconvenienced by them. Our stay - The hotel's location is excellent - major attractions within walking distance. Our rooms ( looking over Place des Pyramides/Rue de Rivoli ) were spacious and spotless offering fine expansive views taking in the Eiffel Tower and Louvre, two Paris icons - what's not to love?! Regina's staff were very friendly and accommodating helping to make the stay there was most enjoyable. Am not able to comment on food at the hotel as we ate out at all times.
