  The staff was wonderful. We stayed for five days and this small boutique hotel provides an exceptionally well trained, multilingual staff that is available to really "care" for their guests 24 hours. They made wonderful suggestions and never spent as much time with us as we needed. The location is terrific for the museums and the wonderful shoppin... what people say » g. They also have a lovely breakfast buffet. All in all the experience was terrific. - Everything! From the lobby which is so, so, one of a kind, the resto and its design, my wow! Blue room ( even got butterflies painted on the walls of my wc) and my friend gave a screamed in excitement when she got her so wished for fushia pink room! ) to the wonderful staff ( they are very good in English) it made our first Paris visit a very memorable one!   I booked the Tonic because I liked that it appeared to be in a genuine Parisian style and wasn't disappointed, the rooms had a nice appearance and has retained some of the buildings original features. It even had its own courtyard off my ground floor room. The receptionist who checked me in spoke excellent English and was very approachable and fr... what people say » iendly, the maid checked my room, towels and re-made the bed every day, which was a nice touch, in the past I have had to ask for this when needed, bu - I had asked for a change in room location within the hotel. The staff went out of their way & were sincere in ensuring it was done even though it was fully packed over the week. I really appreciate the effort.

  It was a very good location in a nice area, being close to many points of interest, and close to two metro stations. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and english level was above average. We went in mid-April but it did get a bit cold outside in the evenings, but the temperature was very comfortable.
