  There are very few good options for a family of four, especially with teenagers-- but this is one. With most hotels, four guests required booking two rooms, but Hotel Des Comedies has a great Family Duplex room with a super comfortable Queen bed, and a loft with a double and a twin. The front desk was very helpful. Especially a lady named Mili. The front desk in general guided us about train stations, restaurants and everything else that we needed. The location is spot on with the metro station right next door. We had a change of plan and extended the trip by two more days but they were sold out. Still they called up other hotels in vicinity and got us reservation. The other hotel was right next door and had bigger room but still was terrib

  The staff is very nice. My room has been upgraded and it is on the eighth floor. The room is very very comfortable and nice. THere is a very good view and you can enjoy the view of paris. Although the lift is broken down, the staff has arranged someone to help me carry the luggage upto my room. Besides, the staff has explained to us that there is ... what people say » a construction in the hotel. All the rooms will be new and cleaned in this summer time. I think the lift has been fixed. So I think there will not be - The location is perfect. If you are young, you can walk everywhere. As a back up, two metro stations, Bonne Nouvelle and Strasbourg-Saint Denis are only steps away. I was worried about the traffic noise at night, but on the third floor it was no problem.

The receptionist gave us comprehensive information about location, transport and sightseeing. The sweety at the receptionist desk is a must!
