  This is a small hotel and the rooms are very small. As a family of 4, we had to take turns walking through the room. That being said, though, everything about our stay here was perfect.   This is a truly lovely budget hotel. At around €100 a night for a decent- sized room with a private bathroom and shower, this is a great deal for the location. We walked there from Gare du Nord; it's also very convenient to the Metro, and there's a bike-sharing (Velib') station just outside the front door. The staff is wonderful... Friendly, cheer... what people say » ful, and very helpful. We ended up needing to leave a day early, and there was no problem changing our reservation once we got there. Overall, this is - Location is great, just 5 mins walk to the metro station (which is near the city centre and has both 8 and 9 line passing by). There are lots of restaurants nearby ( if you are a Chinese, you will like the Chinese restaurant on the left side of the hotel). Staffs are friendly and helpful and there is a small lift in the hotel.

  A friend of mine lived in Paris for a while, so he helped me find a good neighborhood/area of the city to find a hotel. When I found Hotel Bellan in one of the areas he suggested, it seemed like a perfect fit. The price sounded good, the photos looked nice, and the reviews were pretty good.   All of the staff members were very friendly and had cheerful attitude. They helped with everything and randomly offered us hot tea or coffee at anytime of the day.   It was an excellent hotel in a great location. It was nicely done out but a little bit cute and kooky (with the china cats and the goldfish). It had more character than bigger chain hotels.
