  Hotel is old but large airy room with small ensuite. Slept well and adequate continental b/fast. No lift so gd exercise gettings bags to room. Took bus from airport to end of its route and were directed to the tourist office. Easy walk from there to hotel. Bordeaux is a beautiful city and very clean. Noticeably less butts and rubbish. Took an hour... what people say » minibus tour of city from tourist office which was ex value of money. Would have stayed longer if we could have. Rbbish. - we stayed in Le Dauphin and wanted an extra night as our train was cancelled, as there wasnt any availability the staff helped us find another hotel and really went beyond the call of duty, thank you!

  The hotel's location is the huge advantage. Even though it was located on a pedestrian street parking a car was never a headache. The room was stylish, quite and comfortable (even though not being big) with a modern bathroom. The staff was extremely welcome and pleasant to deal with.   I love this hotel stayed twice now, and it is very good, also they have free parking that is good for me, would stay again and again very clean and comfortable, the staff are very freindly and called us a taxi as it was raining and we didnt want to wak into the center that is only a 10 min walk, do not go though to the Indian restuarnat called Taj ... what people say » mahal, that is a horrid place the food was cold - Reasonable price, good location (5 min by foot from the walking district), friendly English speaking staff, clean room and bathroom and efficient cleaning service, free WLAN (great!), comfortable bed and pillow, breakfast good in French standards (although not included in the price). Overall, I liked my stay very much. In quality the place corresponds to ***+/**** hotels.
