The staff, helpful, polite and extremely welcoming. Calm, quiet and relaxing feel of the hotel. No street noise could be heard in the evenings, the rooms were very well sound ... what people say » proof so could not hear other guests coming and going. - This hotel is almost brand new. My husband and I loved the design and our room was fabulous. Very comfortable bed and arm chairs. The staff were also very courteous and helpful. We've stayed in various hotels in Paris. This one beats them all. We also ate at the restaurant of the hotel, and highly recommend it!

Location is very good: 1min walk to Voltaire Metro station (just around the corner) and 30min - Don’t let yourself be deterred by the somewhat eclectic interior decoration, the hotel offers for Paris standards a great bang for your buck ratio. Rooms are small but clean, and staff is extremely friendly and forthcoming. Metro stops Ambroise and Voltaire are within 3 minutes walking distance while place de la Bastille is a mere 6 minutes away by foot. On your way to Bastille is the lively Rue de la Roquette with plenty of nice little restaurants and bars.
