  The décor and facilities were worthy of a 4* hotel, with air con; tea and coffee making facilities; hair dryer. The location was perfect - 10 minute stroll to the port; 15 minute stroll to the beach and the old town just round the corner. A one minute walk up the road took us to Place Garibaldi which was wall to wall restaurants with street perfor... what people say » mers - a vibrant place to be. But the real gem of Le Geneve was Corrine, the manageress. What a star, she went the extra 9 yards to make sure we had - The position is super, close to Place Garibaldi, old town and bus lines towards the places to visit on the east side of Nice (e.g. Eze, Monaco, Menton etc.). The room was nicely decorated (the bathroom as well) and with good facilities, like mini-fridge with drinks, coffee / tea making facilities, AC (though quite loud), bathroom accessories etc. The staff was friendly as well.

  Fabulous location and wonderful staff made our first experience to Nice a memorable one. We would most certainly return and use the facilities again. Spacious, light and airy, fabulous wet room, large fridge, small kitchenette with double ring, sink, microwave and mini dishwasher. Around and about: convenient for Casino Supermarket for grocery sho... what people say » pping, great to get around Nice on the Tram and to the beach, albeit a pebbled one, fabulous shopping centres, market and restaurants nearby and just - We had a lovely stay there. The staff were helpful and spoke good English. The apartment was spacious and well-maintained. The hotel has a tram stop just outside, and it's cheap (1 euro 50) to get to the city centre / seafront. The train station Nice Riquier is a 10- minute walk away and it's one stop to the lovely resort of Villefranche.
