Great view from the rooms facing the marina. From these rooms after 8 pm
you get a nice view on the street that is closed for public traffic and
made a long pedestrian zone with musicians and artists and a lot of
people. The rooms are modern and really clean. A lot of great
restaurants are along the street. It's worth to take a nice walk
around the little harbour and through the old city.

The hotel was clean and well presented with a pretty garden to relax in and where you could also take breakfast in the covered out door dinning area. We are both entranced by the charming ambience of the hotel. It suited
our needs perfectly. The bedroom was large and lovely. The breakfast
room was decorated in a pale yellow , patterned china cups and saucers
took us back to a relaxed, gentle era. The rose garden and traditional
sculptures were enchanting too. What a perfect "retreat" after
enjoying the many things of interest in La Rochelle. We plan to return
to the same hotel next year.

Marvelous, warm and empathetic staff. I actually managed to get mylaundry locked in a coin operated washer in town. The staff kindlyhelped me call the emergency number and patiently waited forinstructions on how to release all of my travel clothing. Recently refurbished, this is a very comfortably hotel in a superb location. Just 60 seconds walk from the old port where you can see the three towers for which La Rochelle is aptly famous and just around the corner from the Rue Saint Jean du Perot where you can find a range of excellent restaurants.

We went for a week and stayed at this hotel and it was great it was in a great location near the town centre supermarket places to eat out. We were right near the attractions too.
The hotel staff were very helpful friendly and always happy to help.

Staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms were large, comfortable and regularly cleaned and furnished with tea and coffee. The location was just right - 10/15minute walk out of the hussle and bussle of the town centre, so you got the best of both worlds: quiet and yet also convienient. The hotel has on-site secure car-parking.
