Very helpful staff, nice garden, nice room, very clean, nice pool area, good breakfast (though expensive), very spectacular walk (20 minutes) to Gordes. Ask staff for directions by small (and steep) path. Easy access by car to most of the main attractions of Vaucluse. Hotel was lovely. The pool was cool and refreshing on an unbearably hot day. Our cottage fit four people with 2 separate bedrooms and baths. Perfect for a family and hard to find. Wooded and removed from main hotel .

Loved everything about our stay here, hotel everything we wanted for our visit to the French countryside, I definitely recommend Le Gordos. The staff was very helpful booking many of our dinner reservations. We also really enjoyed our private terrace and garden room view!!. We thought it was much better than a 3 star hotel. We booked to stay in Gordes at the last minute and there were not that many hotels available in the area. Le Gordos is a nice hotel. Our room was fine, wifi worked well, there is parking on site. The walk into Gordes takes about 20 mins which suited us as we had spent so long in the car travelling to Gordes we enjoyed the exercise. We stayed in Gordes as part of a trip to Provence and versus other places that we stayed we thought it wasnt particularly good value for money but Gordes seems like . Liked the look of the hotel and the grounds - lovely garden room with chairs and table. Nice surroundings, poolarea and garden. Peaceful and quiet; friendly staff. The outside was beautiful and. Staff was very nice. Love Gordes, just not the hotel much. It is located in the beautiful nature . Expensive breakfast, traffic noise from surrounding roads. Since the 2 bedrooms are upstairs in the cottage, they were very hot for sleeping at night. We had a small fan but this was not enough on a very hot night. I'm sure this is a rare problem though. Finding a cottage for 4 by far outweighed this minor discomfort. Nothing!. Tehe decoration of the room is old and the external area coul be iprovement. Room was horrendously noisy with the toilet and shower right above our bed - heard every single noise from above. The breakfast was very over- priced at 17 euros per person we were expecting much better. Traffic-noise, lack of fridge and price on meals. The room was rather small but, fortunately, a nice window opened onto a lovely Garden. No mini-bar, and no food service of any kind except breakfast. The size of the rooms; the price of the breakfasts; it did not seem to be good value for money. More like a motel than hotel. The inside was ok, but not what I would pick as a choice again. Hated the pillows worst I ever laid my head on. Bed was'nt much better then pillows. One of the hotel staff urged to use their filiar taxi company for the following day's excursions. I didn't like to use taxi . Instead, I liked to visit some villages and cities by railway and bus. They provided no services to borrow connector for iPhone . They do not have hpspitality.
