Very comfortable, clean and convenient. Location an easy walk to town centre. Big car park. Tea and coffee facilities, a rarity in french rooms. Didn't use the restaurant in the evening, but in hindsight we should have as our meal out was average and the hotel menu looked good. Good location - literally one minute's walk away from the wonderful Avenue du Champagne. Hotel car parking which was really convenient and easy. Really good bedrooms - beautifully clean and comfortable.

Can't think of anything. Breakfast on Sunday should have started at 8am, but the reception and dining room was only opened at 8.15am by the receptionist who was unapologetic. Room was a bit small, but this is a budget hotel, and we were only staying one night so it didn't matter that much. The hotel is a bit 'faded' and is in some need of cosmetic revamping. But if you're only there to sleep, does it make much difference?. nothing. Disturbance from noisy door-shutting. Restaurant closed at week-ends. The attached restaurant is okay, but maybe it's worth being a little more adventurous than we were. Overdue for some decoration and maintenance but comfortable and clean enough. The hotel/room is very small. The hotel is in the middle of the Champagne district and popular with tours. A party came back late at night and were very noisy. If there are selfish quests you will be disturbed due to layout of the rooms. small. Well. Its not really Hilton. The rooms are small and although rather clean rather worn. The bathroom is in desperate need of an upgrade. Our room had a standard kingsize bed which was OK but there is very little space for your clothes and other stuff. Breakfast was also rather poor but then it generally is in France and Italy. Disappointed no restaurant but it is winter, bit far from centre to walk to restaurants at this time of year. Hotel is rather run down, beds are old and sink in the middle and it needs a re-furbishment; but it is clean. Just a very basic overnight no frills place to stay, ideal if just passing through. Tired furnishings and surroundings. Badly warped bedroom door , didn't lock easily. It's very basic and box like - small rooms and a little dated - it's a Travelodge type of place - and therefore £60 a night is a tadge on the high side - with a supplement of 9euros per person for breakfast makes it rather bad value for money. Young lady at breakfast could have been more helpful. Very noisy guests coming back to their rooms in the early hours of the morning!! Bathroom was dirty. Coffee facilities were unusual but I understand the same for all Kyriad hotels. Why only have one normal coffee and one decaffeinated. There were also 3 beds in the room but only enough milk/coffee/tea for 2. On the evening of our arrival first time staff not helpful and non smiling. Better when we returned 10 days later. Décor was rather tired looking. The restaurant staff did not speak to us at breakfast, just continued setting up for lunch although our breakfast table was full of crumbs (this was half an hour before service ended). hotel was OK but could do with a refurb. the staff, the room. It wasn't clean or comfortable. Staff (reception) not very helpful. Miserable and could not speak any english. Restaurant was closed in the evening and did not appear to be any bar facilities. Breakfast was poor. No plates, initially no orange juice, cheese, ham, coffee. Reception staff at night showed lack of interest. Cold Water in the Showers! Receptionist should learn to speak at least basic English. There are tourists from all over the world coming to this place. Pathetic!!. location. The beds were uncomfortable. The reception area reeked of cigarettes and we could clearly tell that the staff was smoking inside. That is not acceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone - unless there was no other option in Epernay. The room was filthy, carpet was full of dust, many things were broken and above all that when we arrived the reception was closed. The receptionist arrived after we called the hotel. Never stay again.
