Lovely friendly staff, clean room, comfortable beds, fabulous breakfast - the children partcularly like the pancakes - and the location is perfect. Service from all the staff and our simple but very suitable meal. Everything was spotless. Pleasant well situated hotel. A little difficult to find but bright clean and airy. Traditionally Ibis, you know what you're getting for a very good price.

Finding the hotel and the car park - the one-way is difficult - print out a detailed map before you go!. access to the parking was a bit challenging due to the one-way streets and street repairs going on. We had to pay for breakfast. At other Ibis hotels we stayed at in Colmar and Beaune breakfast was included. Lighting could be better in bedrooms and corridors but it is not a major issue. Hotel had fire drill whilst we stayed there. Very poorly handled as did not give guests advance warning, very frightening. No printer at computer hub for customers. The hotel was so hard to locate that the gps gave up. It had to be sussed out on foot before vehicular access could be located. The staff were unhelpful and parking was less than simple - either paid street parking or a weird 24hr limit on basement parking. Staff on reception unfriendly. A lot of loud banging early in the morning. Cheap decor Lack of loo brush Noises. Black hairs on the bathroom floor when both of us are blonde. Opposite Unemployment Benefits Offices. What looked like homeless people ( 3 off ) Sat on the floor outside the hotel drinking beer at 8:30am. Room very basic and a bit tired. A lot of noise from outside limited places to eat out.
