We had a fabulous experience and are looking forward to a return visit. The area is perfect for hikers of varying abilities, and the owner/guide of Casa Vanella an expert resource. Incredibly clean and well-organized room, with good reading lights and lots of hot water in the sink and shower. Gorgeous views, quiet village, welcoming people. We were there in October and plan to return in spring or fall, avoiding the busiest seasons..Also, great food there and at local restaurant Paglia Orba.
