Very clean, modern hotel - room a little small and a slightly strange shape but suited our purposes. Nice to have a pool. Staff quiet but helpful when asked. The best thing was the location - just a few minutes walk from the wonderful medieval city complex. Large comfortable beds and bedrooms. Pool and terrace. Close to the old city so easy 5 min walk walk up to old city. 5 min taxi ride 6 euros from main train station. They called us a taxi for departure.

The staff was friendly and helpful with directions, etc. We ventured out walking into the town below the castle and it was an easy walk. Great location. not very comfortable seating by pool; we didn't take breakfast there as we felt it was overpriced at 12 euros. Pool was small, photo is deceptive. No fridge in room to keep cool drinks - they want you to buy drinks at their terrace bar. Some staff very helpful others not so. The price of breakfast was way too expensive. We got to the hotel and were redirected to another hotel across the street. Not sure what that was all about but the one we got moved to was very nice and comfortable. Actual Room maybe a little basic- for price -a comfortable chair would have been good in a large room.- I maybe am being too harsh as I would easily give it 9/10!. We'd booked some time ahead for three nights, a larger room. When we arrived we were told our room was not available for the first night. We were in a tiny room for the first night, then had to move, which was a pain. The explanation given didn't help: it wasn't their fault, it was the computer system which had worked it out that way. There was no apology, the girl seemed to think we were wrong to mind. The decor looks rather cheap. The room was a little shabby but considering the price we paid we would not complain. For a suite, having zero ventilation is in excusable. Musty smell was bad. Breakfast too dear. Nothing. no staff overnight (we had minor emergency & needed aid, but no-one was available). The shower was ok but leaked on to the floor a lot when having a shower. Breakfast was basic and a bit overpriced. Room small and expensive for the size but I guess you pay it's close to the old city. Did not like the way the rooms were across the road but the rooms were very nice. Breakfast overpriced, just in front of the hotel, from the back side, there is a boulangerie that offers great deals or you can always go to La Cite. They really should include something in the toilet to hang the towels. Wi-fi very poor in room. Small pool. Reception, bar and pool close at 8.30pm. Lack of any chairs in room, stools only, not enough variety for breakfast. Room was small and basic. Very small rooms, no full length mirror, limited closet space, very limited choice of snacks in bar and artificial high cost. This hotel probably has some nice rooms, but beware, the ones on the ground floor are truly dreadful. The staff did not seem to agree or care for that matter.
