We chose to stay in this location so that the next morning we could head
straight to Paris. This is a beautiful "bed and breakfast"
type accommodation in a separate freestanding cottage. It is set in a
huge garden and the accommodation was beautiful! We went to the main
house for a delicious French breakfast which was included in our 110
euro (the booking confirmation stated that breakfast was extra). all reviews »
We stayed in a converted garage seperate from the house.A little tight for 4 adults,with one loft bedroom and pull out couch in living room.Very cozy and cute.Wonderful large bedroom in main house.Lovely huge quiet yard with great swimming pool.A 3min car ride to 1 hr train ride into Paris.Wonderful owners.Takes credit cards.
The family who own the property were lovely - very friendly and helpful. The lady didn't speak English but her husband did, thankfully, as our French is very poor. Our bedroom and en suite were very comfortable and nicely decorated. I would definitely stay there again if in the area.
Lovely garden, clean and comfortable gîte. Very kind and helpful hosts. Dogs, cats and rabbit very friendly and a great bonus for the children. Wonderful breakfast in the garden. Convenient distance for Orly (about 1 hr drive) if you don't want to stay at an impersonal hotel.
Fantastic place with very friendly and helpful owners. Well placed for visiting Fontainebleau and exploring the woodlands. Ours was a very comfortable, quiet & clean room with quirky decor and delicious breakfast. We paid on card, so no longer just cash payment.

Not being able to check in until 5pm. We had had a big day driving and
were ready to check in a little earlier but couldn'T.
Very minor things - no tea/coffee making facilities in our room and the Wi-Fi was very slow but as I mentioned very minor things which did not intact on our enjoyable there.

Parking is on the road, and not on site as mentioned, although we could bring the car on site to unload before parking it on the street afterwards. Check in is rather late at 1700 hours and so we found ourselves wasting time to check in. Worth noting the family apartment is in the basement, and as mentioned in one of the other reviews there was no kettle! Heated water for tea in microwave!.
