The hosts, Thérèse & Philippe, were fantastic. Philippe made sure we had all the information we needed to get around Bordeaux, and even recommended a great local bar and bistro which we ate at every night! Thérèse prepared fantastic breakfasts and helped arrange a laundry service which was very much appreciated. The room we stayed in (Deux Rives) was spacious and very nicely decorated. The walls were a little thin, but there were ear-plugs already in the room just in case! Located an easy f.
all reviews » We received a warm welcome on arrival and our hosts took their time to go through all our questions. We were given great advice on where to eat where to walk etc. When we entered our room we couldn't believe how lovely it was. It was better than the photos and had great attention to detail. Every day we had a little biscuit or candy in our room with a note showing the weather for the next day. Breakfast was amazing! Freshly squeezed juice;caramel mousse; pain perdu and Cannelés all home made th. We loved Everything. The room was amazing and BIG! Therese the host was the kindest lady & so accommodating! The breakfast was delicious & well beyond any hotel standards! It was right outside the main train station & a very quick tram ride into the city centre. You have to stay here when visit Bordeaux!. Therese & Philippe were so warm and gracious providing us with super friendly service and great advice about our visit to the wonderful city of Bordeaux. A great visit. You should go!.
