  Comparing with other hotels I were (in Spain, Italy, Belgium, Greece, etc.), I could say that it is the best place to sleep couple nights. Green Star has beneficial combination of location, price, comfort, security, rooms condition and cleanness. We also noticed nice organization of parking places.   Lovely little hotel, very cosy. The rooms we were given were big and confortable, with a pretty romatic decoration. One of the rooms had a balcony with a view to the lake, a pleasant place to spend part of a sunny afternoon. The hotel location is nice and also convenient, between the market place and the fortress. We were very happy with our stay.... what people say » - =the staff was extremely helpful!! I arrived much earlier and they let me check in, however, had to change the room which was a minus, but it's not the hotel's fault. As well, they served breakfast 30 min earlier (6:30am) on my request due to early departure. And the breakfast was great! =location is 50m away from the lakeshore

  Our request for higher floors was fulfilled and we got upgraded to a room with sauna. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good as well. We will stay there again if we have a chance to visit Kuopio again. - very good beds, very kind girl at reception, walked with us outside to show proper place for parking.
