Tartu Hotels

i was attending conference in Tartu and have decided to treat myself with something new and I found Antonius Hotel. Location is excellent, while everything within short walking distance. Hotel is built-in at historical building and decorated within appropriate style of last centuries. The one who likes all NEW and modern - only large LCD will fit you. I also like breakfast minimalistic choice on buffet table, but you can order from ala-cart menu various things, which are included to room rat - Anne

Stayed for two nights recently and was really pleased with what I received for the money. Well located, some 2-3 minutes walk from the bus station, was easy to find as it's opposite the main shopping centre. Slightly unusual way to enter the hotel as reception is on the 3rd floor of a 5 storey building, nonetheless not too confusing (even for me!). I just read the (sour) reviews and found them injustified. I stayed there in July 2008, and my experience is that the hotel is just fine. Nice rooms, simple but clean and modern furniture, and the shower is great (hot water and a firm pressure). Make sure you overlook either the city or the market, there are always things to see there. I had to work quite a bit when I was there, so I put the desk in front of the window so i could enjoy the view. One (big) disadvantage: there are no windows, o - Kenneth

Came in for an event at the Defense College, and the hotel was great. Clean, very nicely furnished room, fantastic breakfast with lots of meat, fish, fruit, bathrobes, heated floors in the bathroom, a kitchenette. The drinks in the room were moderately priced, there is a parking lot. Staff helpful and friendly. - Margaret
