Our room was exactly as requested and very good and quiet. Location was marvellous. It was the best value for money we found for Tallinn. Excellent location in the center of the Old Town, lovely and quiet old building, very helpful staff. Very pleasant stay overall.Very polite staff. Conventionalized room (brick vault at the wall, girder, etc.) Very good breakfast. The staff was amazing, polite and very helpful.

The hotel was located close to everything, an easy walk put me within bars, clubs, restaraunts and the sights. The room was clean and well kept. There was also a free digital safe in the room. A lot of other reviews had put the hotel down for being smelly or confusing due to the corridors. What rubbish. All I can say is that for the price you can't expect gold, marble and bell boys.Very clean room, new furniture and bathroom, breakfast buffet with large selection, very well located in the old town. Their target is to sell all rooms for a reasonable price rather than keep the room price and empty rooms. Also, need to highlight that there is no elevator...I only found this out from visitor reviews. Too small window in dbl economy rooms There were not free tables on the breakfast. The only bad bit was I changed my reservation online to add another day and I had an email confirmation that it was changed but we came back to find our keycard didn't work because they thought we were leaving, easily remidied though. Unfortunately, there were problems with the radiators which clicked and hummed some nights which kept us awake.They need toster for brekfast time. :). Parking would be a plus but again it is not possible in the old town.no elevetors; hotel's staff not very friendly. the staff wasn't too polite. Pity that there was no lift, long waiting time to be served at the reception desk. Check in time could be earlier than 2pm, especially after having travelled throughout the night.The atmosphere in reception was ruined by loud Russian disco music coming from tv, it does not go together with the stile of the hotel. The room was nice but on the4th floor and difficult to get to if you had a lot (or big) baggage. We had the misfortune to stay at the hotel on New Year's Eve and could not eat dinner there due to a party but arrangements were made with another hotel. Breakfast was not available until 11am. As we had a flight - we had to go and find that ourselves which was not easy as all cafes etc were also shut. Quality of bathrooms, noise in water tubs, the shower faucet should be a thermostatic when the space is small. Now the handle moved always when you are in the shower. It will be difficult to keep the bathrooms clean in long term because of wood and old tiles.If you intend to pay cash be aware that the xchange rate (eek-eur) isnot the best you can find. Don't expect the staff to be extremellyhelpful, you might have to ask twice for a simple service. Rooms arepretty small but they're charming. The "Do not disturb" sign has nomeaning here, the maid entered the room ignoring it. No elevator; stillthey have a bell-boy. The room was too small: two beds in a narrow place and no room to store anything , no wardrobe or space to move..I thing it should not advertise as a four -nor 3star hotel..Unless they make that room a single one for example.Staff was aloof. The night receptionist had is girl friend there and wouldn't answer the phone... he was reluctant to give any assistance. Thin walls. While the staff attend your demands, like e.g. a glass of hot milk during the breakfast (since it is not available in the buffet) they don't do it in a very nice way.breakfest - old and dry bread, heating system nois, people drinking and screaming in backyard late night. People starting work early morning in backyard without taking care if sombody wante to sleep 0700. As you now know we had our room out against the backyard. The sound isolation is very poor. Cheap things, like mirror was hung up with electrical wire, and an extension cording hanging where kids can get to it. Also the internet in the rooms didn't work as promised. The staff was often smoking in the entry to the hotel and this was 4 of the 5 times we came in and out. The staff also spoken primarily Russian. Finally, the staff wanted me to pay cash previously agreed to pay with card.
