Very relaxing and the staff could not be more helpful. Excellent location near to the Reef and beach. Great food Excellent staff, very friendly and attentive. Other than the beach and reef for those looking to snorkel and dive, there is nothing else in this resort. There is no town or village, only hotels. Therefore, you stop in your hotel, or you walk to the beach. The nearest town is Porto Ghalib which is 10-15 minutes taxi ride away at an approximate return journey cost of 26.00 euros.

Marsa Alam is situated near the Tropic of Cancer where the Arabian Desert meets the Red Sea, and it has the appearance of a tropical paradise with its palm trees, mangroves and sea coast fringed with barrier coral reefs.
