The hotel is situated very close to Terminal 1 Cairo airport. The hotel has also provided a shuttle bus to bring the customers to their respective terminal at the airport. You just have to request for the shuttle bus during the check out We had a chance for a buffet dinner which was very nice and with various food selection. The cost is reasonable for a 5 star hotel and the main thing is it was free for children.
all reviews » the shuttle service has been very efficient!!! the staff went to pick me up directly in the arrival hall of the airport, in the middle of the night, with a sign showing my name to avoid any misunderstanding. They were on time and very kind. The hotel is beautiful, especially the swimming pool and all the plants and lush vegetation surrounging it. I liked the position very close to the airport. The hotel is in a premium location very close to the airport. It's clean and comfortable. I stayed one night and ordered lunch from their menu in my room, it came on the time I requested, the plates were neatly served with generous portions However the bread was not fresh but the meal was good and tasty. My kids enjoyed playing in their small playground. Very convenient to the airport. Airport shuttle was right on time and the check-in was quick and efficient. Room well appointed with all the necessities (and a very nice fruit and sweets selection for free). Excellent choice for being only minutes from the airport for an early flight the next morning, with regular free shuttle bus and no noise from planes. I stayed in 2 different rooms and the wired internet did not work in either and judging by the number of people using laptops in the lobby I think this was probably true for many rooms. Mosquitoes in my room. Like everywhere else in Egypt you feel almost obliged to tip for every small thing - people look at your hands to see if they will get anything. I find this annoying. When I made the réservation, it didn't include the meal.. you take your meal whatever is and then it's included on the final payements. Was given a smoking room which was gross and should no longer be allowed. In the rooms where mosquito and it wasn't pleasant. There was nothing I didn"t like. The room to be there for two person is very small room !!. I hate the way many of the hotel's staff begs indirectly for tips. It was very anoyying, embarressing and hearbreaking for me. I wish I were a millionair to tip all of the modest poor ones. TX. The quality of food in the Italian restaurant was poor. no internet in the rooms. Some of the working in the resturant is too young in age and experienc. Room cleaning can be improved,bed not comfortable,old furniture. Toilet had no toiles and had to call the reception to deliver some. In general the bath room is far below what you expect in a 5 stars hotel. Stuff is not really frindly but thats a Generall Problem in Egypt. There was a connecting door to the Room next to me, so I could hear very clearly what they doing in the othere Room. In that Room next to me, stayed 2 young Egyption Gay guys who had sex all night long. That was not really what I wanted to hear. At check out I had informed the reception about it, they did not look much sureprised about it. 3 stars hotel at best, standard room terrible, old and poorly cleaned, hotel badly needs total renovation, facilities looks 20 years old. Bathroom need renovation and cleaning Bad ramp from reception to second floor with no safety for wheel chair users or luggage Breakfast with limited options and expensive. The room set up closet doors, not easy to move bed cover had blood stains on it and pillow had hair string on it (bad quality control) dinner a la cart at the orangier restaurant was embarrassing to me and my guests(5 of us), all orders were wrong delivered. front desk personnel were helpful. The booking didn't say anything about breakfast, they told me the time for breakfast when I checked in, but I eventually I had to pay for my breakfast as it was not included in my booking. Price was increased due to the curfew currently in place in Cairo only option was to pay the high price or sleep in the airport.
