Everything. I think it is the first time I can't say anything bad about the hotel. Our stay there was awesome. The hotel is very big but beautiful and even luxurious.The staff is very friendly and helpful. And their fiendliness seems to be sincere. The choice of restaurants is great and the food is delicious. all reviews » The happy, positive, friendly attitude of the staff is the strongest asset of the Majestic Colonial. They are engaging and entertaining, and only too happy to go the extra mile to delight their guests. Patience with language barrier issues is highly recommended, since one can almost always find a staffer who can fully understand a request. The location is terrific, and the facilities are fantastic. We definitely appreciated the upgradee to the adults-only Colonial Club... many families with you. The beach was amazing and the water was gorgeous. The grounds were also very beautiful and well maintained. We were surprised at how amazing the evening shows were at the theater- Michael Jackson, Circus (amazing!!), and a couples challenge. And let's not forget our man Alex at the main bar serving up the best cocktails and environment on the whole resort!. Great honeymoon spot. If you do not have kids make sure you do the adults only "colonial club"! It is worth the money! Pool is great, activities on the resort are fun if you want to participate. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Just an advice: cook fresh pancakes in the morning like you do the omelettes and like they do it in every 5* hotel around the world. With seven restaurants, one would hope that one could find some great dining. The food is exceptionally unimpressive. This is the only apparent downside to the "all-inclusive" feature. The food was lack luster, mostly burgers and pizza-type products for lunch and the dinners were nothing I couldn't prepare better myself. Best meal we had was at the French restaurant. Service was hit or miss depending on who you had, some of the staff was amazing, and some would rather you drop dead. Food was not the best, but as long as you do the club there are plenty of good options. Food was not bad by any means, but it was not great. nothing. Hotel isn't new. Colonial club part is better, but still not perfect. the beach chairs and papallas were too close in the adult section of beach. food was average. adult section pool was too small for number of people staying on that side. The beds itched and are old and uncomfortable! I would ever stay there again and would never reccomend it to anyone!.
